Hey All Yall!!!

I am officially in Nashville, GA! I am with Elder Williamson and Elder Foster (who is going home Aug 1st!) They are both great missionaries, know the gospel, they are great teachers. Elder Foster is such an effective missionary. I am glad I am able to be with him before he goes so I can learn and become better. Elder Haderlie is in my district too! I was so happy to know that. I love that kid, he rocks. We taught 61 lessons this week! That seems unimaginable! Being on bikes gives us so many opportunities to talk to people and to find them. They commit people to baptism fast and use it as a sifting tool, which does work and it helps them see the goal we want for them. We met some great people this week too; one really great guy who is a Veteran. He saw us down the street going over our plans and he kept poking his head out to see if we were coming his way. When he saw we were, he walked outside and waited to see if we would talk to him.  Which of course we did! (thats why its SO important to talk to everyone!!!) He let us in and we talked. He doesn't like other churches cause they are out to get money, but he was really impressed with us and he was asking great questions. We met with him again and he opened up.  This  man is completely prepared to hear and accept the gospel! I am so grateful that I have the chance to be here to work with him. Met some of the folks in the ward and they are some good people. I have had alot of fun with these guys, Elder Williamson is a goof!! haha love him though. Elder Foster as well. haha I am glad to be here. I pray I may be able to work extra hard. I hope and pray all yall have a good week! Love yall!

I am getting transferred to Nashville, Georgia!!! Whoo hoo! I am so sad to leave this area though, there are so many awesome people here. I love the ward they kick butt!!! Super friendly families, super nice, I will definately be coming back to see them at some point. I have had alot happen here, alot of learning, alot of stress, alot of fun, alot of memories. I am excited to be going though, I definately have something more to learn and/or do in Georgia! This week we have been a little down, had about 3 days of rain straight. It really does take the joy outa ya. Had some great lessons though, had a member with us yesterday to visit this lady, and he was just powerhousing with the Spirit. Oh man, he is a stud. Such a great example of what the Atonement can do for someone who wants to learn. Had a few downers this week too. Our service project on Saturday with our investigator being baptized went great! We had alot of help from the ward, we got a new mission leader!!!! I am bummer I wont get to work with him. Elder Fjeldsted will do great though, he is gonna be happy to have his own area to take care of. I have learned alot from him, he has helped me grow, at least I think I have grown. :D

So last week I brought up for people to let me know if they would like to develop different traits or something like that and to email me to let me know. That way we could keep eachother in check, no one was interested? If you change your minds let me know! :D

A less active guy we have been working with, is making some progress, he is reading and praying. We invited him to fast. I love this guy, he really is an awesome guy and I know the time will come that he will come back to church and be a great blessing to others. I will miss him. Also the others who we have met and I have grown to love very much, I wish I could still work with them, but my time is up. I love you all. Make the very most of the time you have! It is really super short. Now I have to pack! :D and go to Naval Air Museum! Love all yall! Have a great week!

Happy Monday to all yall!!

This has been busy out here, baptisms are not moving forward the way I would hope but we are finding new people and teaching alot, I feel like I have been getting to be the best missionary I can be, but I realized this week and I am still so far from where I need to be. Haha so much to improve on. We did however have some great lessons, learned some new things. Often times it is hard to accept criticism but if we don't, we live in ignorance and won't see where we need to change. I have noticed that others see in us in ways that we can't, of course we all know that, it is important though from what I see and have learned, to listen to and accept that criticism, for the purpose of remaining humble and know where to improve. Anyways!

I read from D&C 76 today about the Kingdoms of glory, pondering on the different glories and rewards it is interesting and profound as to what we can become and what we can receive. Elder Fjeldsted has been reading the sections President Uchtdorf counseled Priesthood bretheren to read again, and to ponder our potential. Each of us has an incredible potential (male or female), and seems as though it is something we generally live underneath. We are able to do so much more... why don't we? I don't know exactly, but I see now that life is a long journey, and we need to have something to work towards. President Jensen (mission president) said in a last zone conference, life is happiest and most joyful when we have something to work towards. What is something we can each work towards? I have plenty, as do we all, but lets focus on what we can do NOW. Will each of you join me in refining our character, and our literal selves? It would bring support to me as I know others are striving with me to overcome weakness. Let me know if you are going to do so, then we can report to each other and hold one another accountable. I love you all, thanks for everything that each of you do. God bless each of you.

Hey Yall!

Its going to be a short one today! Happy 4th of July! This has been a great week again, Elder Fjeldsted and I are working very hard, he is a great missionary. I learned this week that it is much better to encourage rather than demand. When people are motivated or encouraged they work better, when we work harder and have a stronger confidence things work out. We saw that this week, we had a great week! We had an amazing lesson with one of my favorite families turned out amazing. Found a few great people! Sorry to be so short, I hope yall have a great week! We gotta go to a BBQ at our members home, then possibly fireworks. Love yall! Stay true! :D
