Happy New Year Yall!!!
I hope everyone had a great new year! We had a great one! We had a delicioius shrimp dinner and daywith a great family. I finished the Book of Mormon December 31st! Wow! It's awesome!! I have a greater testimony of it now. I have learned alot of how I can improve. I have a long way to go, I don't think I will ever stop seeing how the Book of Mormon prophets teach us to "remember" I find it so imporant, that if we are feeling down, depressed, useless, offended, hurt, etc. to just think back and think deeply about what God has done for us, and if we truly desire we will be guided by the spirit to recognize something or even many blessings that  God has given us. It will give us strength to press through many trials. President Eyering, in a conference talk a few years ago, talked about how he kept a journal and asked himself everynight what God had done for him that day, then he wrote it. He did it for his kids, this being the time after they were born and he realized that it would help them. Then he related how the journal was read by his son when he had grown up and has his own family. His son realized how much God had indead helped them. I don't remember exactly what it said but it was special. I am going to read the Bible this year! I started in the New Testament and I love it! It is so awesome! So much in there. I read today about how Christ called his disciples, delivered the sermon on the mount, called Matthew, all that good stuff. He taught about not judging. I also read today from President Monson "Charity Never Faileth". Charity is the opposite of judging. I love it.
I am getting my MTC companion as my new companion. Elder Warburton is going to Val Dosta, Georgia. I am excited for him, he is going to love it. We have a few more baptismal dates. Some awesome people are preparing to make covenants. We found out that three of them are related but we were teaching them seperately. They are all excited now cause they are doing it together. My glasses broke this week too, so i am wearing my back up pair. My companion told me I look like a guy from Weezer! haha Fresh!! The picture is of our district, only Elder Warburton is leaving. Good folks here. We have had a good 6 weeks. One of our baptismal dates came to church even though she had foot surgery. That was such a sign of dedication. I was excited to see that. I love yall! Hope everyone has a great week! Thanks for all your support!!! Share the gospel!! Give missionaries refferalls!!!
